I love your illustrations Aunty Lara! You are quite a talented illustrator. It can ONLY be that Edo blood surging strongly through your veins!! In my first comment on this blog [which I lacked the technical expertise to "publish"] I wrote that your illustrations, particularly for your humorous blogs reminded me of the work of the late American Humorist James Thurber who apart form his written work was quite famous for his illustrations, especially in the New Yorker magazine. Addressing the question of whether we can still save Nigeria my answer is an apodictic "yes"! [Patrick Obahiagbon and I are from the same city! Even your spell check is confused!]
Thank you for this Uncle Wilfred. I looked up James Thurber and love his drawings their humour mixed with social commentary, as well as his wise sayings. Re Nigeria I also believe she can be saved, and thank you for adding to my vocabulary with your apodictic affirmation.

I am a logophile, Aunty Lara - i.e. One who loves words and collects them - like others collect stamps. It is a very cheap hobby.
